To celebrate the foundation of CAU for 120 years, Journal of Cotton Research is launching a special collection for the faculties of CAU to report the latest progress in cotton research.

About the Collection

Journal of Cotton Research is calling for submissions to our Collection on Celebrate the 120th Anniversary of China Agricultural University. China Agricultural University (CAU), is one of the most prestigious Agricultural University and one of the most significant agricultural research organizations in China, as well as around the world. Its agricultural science was ranked the Top 1 University in the U.S. News 2024-2025 best universities in the world. Since its foundation in 1905 as the Agricultural College of Imperial University of Perking, CAU carries on the motto of “Tackle the problems the people face, cultivate the talents the world needs”, has contributed tremendously to the development of China and the improvement of the society. To celebrate the foundation of CAU for 120 years, Journal of Cotton Research is launching a special collection for the faculties of CAU to report the latest progress in cotton research.

Invited alumni and former faculty members are welcome to submit their manuscripts, too. Please clearly state the exact period (From YYYY to YYYY) when you studied or worked in CAU in the Author information part.

This Collection welcomes submission of original research articles and reviews. Should you wish to submit a different article type, please read our submission guidelines to confirm that type is accepted by the journal.

Articles for this Collection should be submitted via our submission system, Editorial Manager. Please select the appropriate Collection title “Celebrate the 120th Anniversary of China Agricultural University" from the dropdown menu.

Articles will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process and are subject to all the journal’s standard policies. Articles will be added to the Collection as they are published.

The Editors have no competing interests with the submissions which they handle through the peer-review process. The peer-review of any submissions for which the Editors have competing interests is handled by another Editorial Board Member who has no competing interests.

The publication costs will be covered by Institute of Cotton Research, CAAS, so authors do not need to pay an article-processing charge.
