Submission Status: Open   |   Submission Deadline: 19 September 2025

BMC Pediatrics is calling for submissions to our Collection, Pediatric health disparities: addressing inequities in access and outcomes. This Collection, aims to bring together research that highlights and addresses the persistent inequities in pediatric healthcare.
Health disparities among children are a pressing concern that manifests in various forms, such as differences in disease prevalence, health outcomes, and access to healthcare services. These disparities often stem from a complex interplay of socioeconomic and geographic determinants of health, which include factors like income, education, race, and neighborhood conditions. By shedding light on these determinants, we hope to uncover the root causes of health inequities and explore effective strategies to mitigate them.

New Content ItemThis Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
