Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery is calling for submissions to our collection on Flow Measurement in Coronary Artery Surgery. Coronary artery bypass graft surgery is a technically complex procedure and the long-term outcomes are determined by a number of factors. The use of these new technologies continues to increase globally. This collection will guide Coronary Surgeons globally and help to improve patient outcomes.

About the collection

Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery is calling for submissions to our collection on Flow Measurement in Coronary Artery Surgery. Coronary artery bypass graft surgery is a technically complex procedure and the long-term outcomes are determined by a number of factors. Without doubt the quality of the coronary anastomosis is the most important. In recent years, there have been a number of innovations in the assessment of the quality of coronary anastomosis. One of the parameters of quality assessment is the measurement of flow through the anastomosis. There are many techniques available to measure flow and assess the quality of the coronary anastomosis. 

The use of these new technologies continues to increase globally. This collection of The Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery will focus on "Flow Measurement in Coronary Artery Surgery". This will guide Coronary Surgeons globally and help to improve patient outcomes.
