BMC Psychology welcomed submissions to our Collection on Emerging research in industrial and organizational psychology.
Industrial and organizational psychology is a dynamic field that explores the behavior of individuals and groups within the workplace, as well as the impact of organizational structures and processes on employee well-being and performance. This Collection gathered cutting-edge research that addresses various aspects of work, labor, organizational behavior, workplace policies, and employee effectiveness.
Recent advances in industrial and organizational psychology have highlighted the significance of work-life balance, career development, employee motivation, and the design of effective organizational reward systems. Additionally, research has emphasized the role of management styles, employee well-being, and the optimization of work quality in driving organizational success.
Continued research in this area holds the potential for developing innovative strategies to enhance employee well-being, optimize work quality, and improve organizational performance. Furthermore, ongoing research efforts may lead to the identification of effective approaches for addressing the evolving needs of the workforce, including the impact of technological advancements and changing market dynamics.
Topics of interest included but were not limited to:

- Career development, training, and skills enhancement in modern work environments
- Organizational reward systems, employee motivation, and performance incentives

All manuscripts submitted to this journal, including those submitted to collections and special issues, are assessed in line with our editorial policies and the journal’s peer review process. Reviewers and editors are required to declare competing interests and can be excluded from the peer review process if a competing interest exists.
