BMC Biomedical Engineering called for submissions to our Collection, Surgical robotics. Robotic surgery is a valuable asset for precision medicine. Surgical robots are commonly used for minimally invasive surgery, which is associated with faster recovery and fewer complications. The implementation of robotic systems allows to achieve higher precision levels and affords increased flexibility and consistency. This Collection welcomed submission on the development and testing of new robotic devices for robot-assisted surgical operations as well as telerobotic solutions.
This Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure.
